Essential hypertension, intense anxiety and intense physical exercise can also result in raised HVA/VMA excretion.
Medications and drugs such as Salicylate, Histamine, Acetaminophen, Levodopa, Ajmaline, Lithium, Epinephrine, Nitroglycerin, Glucagon, Rauwolfia Alkaloids and Guanethidine can increase HVA/VMA.
Contact your physician for approval before discontinuing any prescription medication. Be sure to discuss all non-prescription medications with your physician.
