Integrative Laboratory Services

Please Note: Blood collection at both locations is available by appointment only to facilitate adherence to social distancing. Clinicians are requested to postpone requests for non-urgent tests requiring blood collection, thus limiting the need for a patient to travel to a collection site and increase their own exposure.

Patients will be pre-screened by ICL when booking appointments and at the time they present for the blood collection. Patients will be asked not to book appointments if they:

  • Are in Quarantine (self-isolate) or Isolation
  • Have a respiratory infection or have any respiratory symptoms such as a cough, cold, sore throat, aches and pains or a fever.

The patient will be advised to inform the test ordering doctor of the postponement.

 

Oakville

The Patient Service Centre (PSC) at 126 Trafalgar Road, Lower Level in downtown Oakville is dedicated to offering specimen collection services to Naturopathic patients. Our phlebotomists are trained specifically on all test kits available to order through ICL. Appointments can be booked by calling 416-422-3000 ext 300, ensuring your patient will experience little to no wait time.

Your patients can pick up test kits for self-collection from the Oakville PSC. Please call or email ICL Client Care to ensure we have the kit in stock. This will enable you to store less kits in your office and can expedite the testing process as you and your patient will not need to wait for test kits to be ordered and sent to your office.

The ICL Oakville PSC is currently by appointment only. Appointments can be booked by calling 416-422-3000 ext 300

North York

The Patient Service Centre (PSC) at 57 Gervais Drive in North York is dedicated to offering specimen collection services to Naturopathic patients. Our phlebotomists are trained specifically on all test kits available to order through ICL. Appointments can be booked by calling 416-422-3000 ext 300, ensuring your patient will experience little to no wait time. Walk ins are always welcome.

Your patients can pick up test kits for self-collection from the North York PSC. Please call or email ICL Client Care to ensure we have the kit in stock. This will enable you to store less kits in your office and can expedite the testing process as you and your patient will not need to wait for test kits to be ordered and sent to your office.

The ICL North York PSC Hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Client Care

Client Care is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm EST except for statutory holidays.

Returning Samples for Testing
Please note:
Purolator will not pick up from your home late on a Friday or on a Saturday or Sunday. Home pick up is best done on Mondays to Thursdays (excluding statutory holidays)

  1. Please ensure completed requisitions are sent with samples
  2. Place your samples in the pre-labeled, prepaid Purolator bag
  3. Call Purolator at 1-888-SHIP-123 or 1-888-744-7123
  4. Press 1 for pick-up, press 1 for delivery within Canada, press 2 to speak to a customer service representative (CSR)
  5. Tell the CSR you have a package for pick up with a pre-printed return label
