Beginning July 1, 2026, In-Common Laboratories (ICL) will proudly support the distribution and testing of the fecal immunochemical test (FIT) as part of ColonCancerCheck, Ontario’s organized, population-based colorectal cancer screening program.
ICL is a Canadian, not-for-profit laboratory organization, committed to supporting accessible, high-quality diagnostic testing for patients and health care providers. As Canada’s choice for laboratory testing, we are pleased to support this important initiative aimed at improving early detection and outcomes for colorectal cancer.
ICL has been performing FIT testing in-house for 8+ years and is excited to expand this work provincially beginning July 1, helping ensure more Ontarians benefit from timely, preventive screening and care.
