Specimen must be collected in a glass red top serum contaminant-free collection tube. (Becton Dickinson catalogue #366430 is suggested).

Handling Information

Separate as soon as possible and transfer serum to polypropylene vial. Store and send cold.

Additional Information

There is antimony present in navy EDTA, navy serum, lavender EDTA, green plasma and plastic red top vacutainers.
